There are still lots of great events coming up this month and next featuring great local produce. Here's a selection of the most immediate ones:

Community CROPS Farm Tour

Thursday Sept. 6th, 5-8pm, Sunset Community Farm, SW 40th and West F Streets

You won't want to miss the chance to come out and see our beautiful farm. Lots of things are still producing and we want to show it off to you. This is a chance for you to come out and meet our participating farmers, buy vegetables from them, pick your own vegetables and enter yourself in a drawing to win a free month of the Community CROPS 2008 CSA. Spring Creek Prairie Twilight on the Tallgrass Prairie

Saturday Sept 8th, 5-10pm

Come out and enjoy an evening on the prairie with storytellers, bug catching and more. Community CROPS will have a stand at the mini farmers' market from 5-7pm. Full details on the Spring Creek Prairie website.

KZUM's Veg Fest

Sunday, Sept 16th, 10am - 2pm, Old Cheney Farmers' Market

Join us for a fun day at the Old Cheney Farmers' Market (5500 Old Cheney). There will be lots of great contests, music, booths and kids' activities. More details and contest entry forms
