Community CROPS Farmers' Market
Thursdays, 4:30-7:30pm, through September 18th
Pentzer Park (2 blocks north of 27th and Holdrege)
Join us for a great farmers' market in North Lincoln
Community CROPS is excited to announce our new farmers market featuring local farmers selling delicious food grown right here in our area. Fresh fruits and vegetables of all kinds will be available each week.
September brings lots of tomatoes, but also eggplant, okra, peppers and plenty of cucumbers. There's always plenty of varieties of vegetables to choose from. All of the vegetables for sale are grown without any sprays and grown in Lincoln or just outside of town.
Cooking demonstrations from Open Harvest and County Extension will provide easy and low-cost seasonal meal ideas each week.
Our market will accept food stamps for all eligible products, as well as Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program coupons for fruits and vegetables. We also accept credit cards and debit cards for a small fee.
Another great reason to come to the CROPS market, not to mention the easy access and parking, and that the market is near a bike path and on two bus lines (#41 Havelock and #49 Uni Place).
