Veg Fest VI - Celebrating Farmers and Communities

Celebrate gardening, farmers and community!

Highlights

  • Farmers' market featuring local producers with fresh produce, prepared foods and desserts
  • Local organizations with information booths on everything from growing your own vegetables to tree planting to rain barrels
  • Fun cooking and gardening demonstrations
  • Tons of kids activities

Free fun for the whole family! Ride your bike to the event (there will be prizes for bicyclists) and enjoy a beautiful afternoon in the park.

Chef Demonstrations

Learn from local chefs Ted Pool, Katie Skean and Julie Caruso how to cook up delicious local ingredients, and then sample the results!
